November 19, 2013 – To celebrate the year that’s passed, Sub-Zero and Wolf invited partner architects and designers to a sophisticated and stimulating wine tasting last November 19, 2013. Held at The Sub-Zero and Wolf showroom, guests enjoyed only the finest wines from French regions such as Bordeaux and Alsace- Bollinger Rose, Hugel Pinot Gris 2009, Chateau La Nerthe 2005, Siaurac 2009, and Hugel Gewurztraminer 2011. Without question, France yields a stunning percentage of the world’s most unique and glorified wines. These wines by Wine Story are all quite distinct from one another, yet communally they present a vibrant picture of France, and all it has to offer.
Ben Bailleux, a WSET (Wine & Spirit Education Trust) advanced level sommelier covered everything from each wine label’s history, appellations, classifications, vintages, proper handling, preservation and everything in between. Guests shared their experience as they savor the complexities of each wine variety and its matching dish. Surely, each guest turned into wine aficionados almost immediately!
The night was long and enjoyable. Laughter spread out in the Sub-Zero and Wolf showroom as holiday spirits on a particular high. It was a special evening spent in good company, with exquisite wines and delicious cocktails to match!
